    Numerical and Experimental investigation of Freeze dryer - The proposed area of research is freeze dryer and the associated modelling and experimentation aspects. . The freeze drying process revolves around freezing and drying and is mainly characterized by the drying time, nutrient content regained, operating temperature, type of phase change of liquid water and the freeze dried product itself. The increasing need to expand the prevailing lyophilization capacity of pharmaceutical and biotech industries to enhance the life span of vaccines, blood plasma, protein, antibiotics have made the experts to predict that the freeze drying industry would reach $2,655.9 million by 2019 (Markets and Markets) . Thus, research on the freeze drying is of global importance
